Hey there, I’m Léa welcome to my little corner of the internet, Balance by Food.

Honestly, I didn’t start this journey from a place of inspiration. I started it out of frustration. I was juggling work, family, life… and somewhere in the middle of all that, I completely lost touch with how I felt in my body. I wasn’t eating badly, but I wasn’t eating in a way that made me feel good either. I’d try to be “good” all week, then crash and crave everything on the weekend. Sound familiar?

For years, I believed the only way to feel better was to eat less, do more, and push through. But it never stuck. I always ended up tired, hungry, and annoyed. And the worst part? I thought it was my fault.

What finally changed for me wasn’t a perfect plan it was learning how to eat in a way that supported my hormones, boosted my energy, and actually fit into my life. Not just “healthy,” but balanced. That meant prepping meals ahead (without becoming a meal prep robot), eating plenty of protein, enjoying desserts that didn’t spike my sugar and mood, and most importantly dropping the guilt.

That’s what Balance by Food is all about: real food, realistic prep, and finally feeling at home in your body.
